Media Education Prize
The Evens Prize for Media Education in 2009 was the first one in a series on MEDIA EDUCATION. An external Jury of experts decided to award the following two laureates: the British Film Institute (BFI) proposal – as being an excellent tool for teachers to address media education and the raising of critical awareness, as well as intercultural education and language education; and the University of Minho proposal – because they are trying to directly target the parents and as an encouragement to this team playing a pioneer role in Portugal in the development of Media Education.

Right now the Evens Foundation is exploring how and where these two awarded projects can be disseminated.
