Éliane Radigue at Centre Pompidou

Eliane Radigue at Centre Pompidou

We are very happy to announce the event celebrating the work of Éliane Radigue, who received the Special Mention of the Jury of the Evens Arts Prize. Pioneer of electro-acoustic experimentations, she has created a unique and highly influential path in contemporary music, first composing with the legendary ARP 2500 synthesizer and then for acoustic instruments, exploring minimal rhythms and changes in harmonies that unfold into complex sonic webs.

A one-day programme highlights the two periods of her work, through electro-acoustic and live concerts, a film screening and a conversation with the artist. The event takes place at Centre Pompidou in Paris on 13 September 2020, organised by IRCAM and Musée national d'art moderne, in partnership with the Evens Foundation.
